JOSÉE FABRE – pianist

Born in Marseille, Josee Fabre took up musical studies and the piano
at the Lycee Musicale of Marseille under the guidance of Colette
Frances-Josuan, where she obtained her Licence de Concert, whilst she
simultaneously pursued her university studies in Aix-en-Provence,
obtaining a Master degree in music semiology. She furthered her
studies at the Mozarteum in Salzburg with Carl Seeman, and at the
Royaumont Foundation in France under Dalton Baldwin and Hans Hotter.
Her brief career then became dedicated to chamber music, accompanying
many illustrious singers such as Luigi Alva, Alain Vanzo, Rita
Streich, Martin Egel, etc., in Marseille (Opera, Gymnase, Saint-
Victor), Paris (UNESCO), Montpellier, Apt, the Festival of Aix-en-
Provence, Menton, the Teatro Regio in Torino, ecc.
