The Lieder Sound Archive is a free web archive of live recordings of Lieder and Art Songs (Mélodies, canzoni, романсы, canciones, canções, etc.).

The website has frequent updates: at last count, it houses 65 Composers, 143 Poets, 57 Performers, 622 recordings.

Visitors may listen to the recordings and download the score when free domain.

The Library will provide a useful although not exhaustive list of significant books on the history and aesthetics of German Lied and Art Songs, on poetry and poets, on composers, famous performers, etc.
